Does this sound like you?

Something is holding you back. You feel stuck. You know how you want to show up in your life and relationships, but for some reason, it feels out of reach.

Welcome! You should be so proud of yourself for recognizing the need for change and starting down the path towards something better.

Whether you’re new to working on your mental health, or seeking an alternative to gain new insight, I encourage you to imagine therapy that can offer you an opportunity to change how your brain perceives and processes past events, giving you the ability to respond to current stressors in a healthy way.

Let’s get unstuck.

I’m glad you’re here.

I am an EMDR Therapist with fourteen years of experience in clinical practice. I am passionate about helping people get to the root cause of why they are feeling trapped in long-standing patterns of behavior and thought: the patterns that make it challenging to show up as their best - personally and professionally - every day.

In therapy, I help people heal from past traumas, change negative core beliefs, embrace their authentic selves and use gentle, somatic practices to increase alignment between body and mind.

I love to work with all kinds of people, especially those who are feeling stuck, stagnant or at a loss for next steps. Often, clients find me when they have tried “everything else”, but are still experiencing the same frustrating symptoms.

I consider it an enormous privilege to be trusted with your story.

Therapeutic Modalities

I incorporate a holistic approach to therapy by leaning on natural healing mechanisms that already exist in your brain and body.

EMDR Therapy

Trauma and challenging life experiences can trap us in cycles of pain, anxiety, anger, and self-blame.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based treatment that helps people heal from trauma by reprogramming how their mind responds to triggers and negatively stored information. It utilizes bilateral stimulation, such as alternating tapping or tones, to help the brain process and integrate traumatic memories, reducing those memories’ emotional charge.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR helps resolve issues by accessing and reprocessing the underlying emotions and beliefs held in the unconscious parts of the mind. EMDR Can lead to a significant reduction in anxiety and other symptoms experienced as a result of trauma and negative self beliefs.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS) or "parts work" is an evidence-based model that believes we have multiple internal parts, each with unique roles and perspectives, rather than a single personality.

These parts can sometimes act in frustrating or harmful ways (e.g., the inner critic) as they attempt to protect other parts that carry past emotional pain or unmet needs.

We also possess a Self distinct from these parts, representing our authentic core and inner wisdom.

By fostering a relationship with the Self, we can heal and integrate our parts with compassion and non-judgment, leading to greater balance, self-understanding, and emotional healing.

What is the Safe and Sound Protocol? Listen to filtered music to regulate nervous system from trauma.

The Safe and Sound Protocol

The autonomic nervous system is constantly taking in and responding to cues of safety from our environment, other people, and even inside our own bodies. The more often our nervous system feels unsafe, such as with trauma, the easier it is to get stuck in a stressed state.

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), developed by Dr. Stephen Porges and based on his Polyvagal Theory, involves listening to specially filtered music designed to stimulate the vagus nerve and send cues of safety to the nervous system. This enhances your ability to feel safe and connected, leading to greater calm, balance, and resilience in the face of life's challenges.

After an initial assessment via telehealth or in-person, you complete audio listening sessions at home.

As Seen On

Jenny is the best therapist I have ever worked with, and she will be the only therapist I work with in the future. Smart, compassionate, and easy to talk to, she strikes the perfect balance between friendly and wise. Every session I had with her was fulfilling and insightful. The work I did with her transformed my relationship to my anxiety and perfectionism. I would recommend her unreservedly, not only to those seeking insight into their interior lives, but also to those who wish to go beyond insight to true and lasting change.

I feel like I have a better understanding of myself and my needs, which has improved my relationships and overall quality of life. I highly recommend Jenny and I am forever grateful for the help and support she provided me. - Former client
